Are ye ready to set sail for an adventure of a lifetime?
A small town is ransacked and destroyed when you land. Quickly, you realize this is the doings of Captain Crawfish, a pirate whom no one likes at all. Go right until you meet a girl on the bridge, and talk to her. She states that there is a doubloon under the bridge, and that is your first item. Go down the hill and left to collect the doubloon. Go back up, and go left towards the fort.

When you reach Stinky Tim's General Store, enter it. Go left and pick up the Broken Mirror. Now go all the way right to trade your found doubloon for a Bag of Feed.
Exit, go left, and stop at a chicken handler (the guy with chickens encircling him). Use your feed there and in return you gain a chicken.
Go right until you meet 2 official leaders. Talk to the first one closest to you, and you will examine a mysterious parchment. Now use your blue candle to decipher the rest of the message!
Now you have to piece the map back together, along with ridding that blasted drastic Captain Crawfish! Make haste and go!
Exit the mansion and travel all the way left to where you started; on the docks. Travel to the top and land beside a telescope. Click on the telescope, and hover around until you see a ship (go left until you see a raft). Once you do, click on your mirror in the bottom left corner to signal it. Now watch the cutscene.
(This button in your game tells you all your cargo, money [doubloons], crew, and ship info)

EXTRA TIPS:
-Golden Harbor is the only island where nothing should be bought or sold; just get the map piece there and never return
-The order of crew mates you buy does not matter, but if you can afford a ship, buy the ship first (the crew mates are just "upgrades" to the ship)
-I never used bank loans, since it takes longer time repaying (due to interest). Why not just keep saving up?
-When I first played, I skipped the Steaming Fury and saved up for the Phoenix Warbird after the Koi.
-Run from ship, don't fight them! It's easier collecting salvage floating in water instead of beating a ship.
- Collect as much salvage as you can!
-Buy max and sell max at every island, moving clockwise (and evading Golden Harbor after map piece is gained)
-Every time you land, it's another day, so make it count!
Now off you sail!

Sail towards Pirate Outpost first (bottom left corner). Watch out for the sea monsters, disasters, and pirates, while collecting salvage.
Pirate Outpost
Dragon Cove
Bouffant Bay
Remember to sell your silk, and buy as much medicine as possible. Now go left until you reach 3 ferns. Jump up and hit the last fern, then the first, then the middle one. Grab the Archipelago Map. Now move on to Parrot Port.
Parrot Port
Remember to sell your medicine, and buy as much grain as possible. Now go left of the dock until you meet a red-rainbow parrot. Talk to him, and then jump into the ocean. After, go to the top of the second hay-roofed house to talk to it again. Now go right and jump on top of a chimney. Once it is clogged, keep going right until you meet the parrot in a palm tree. Talk to it again. Now drop down, enter the pub, and go to the top right corner to grab a cracker, then exit. Go all the way left to the tower, and climb up it. Talk to the pirate, and he asks for his parrot. Use your cracker and the parrot will come to you. He will then reward you with another Archipelago Map. Move on to: Golden Harbor if this is your first time there, or Pirate Outpost if you have already found the map piece there.
Golden Harbor
Remember, DON'T BUY OR SELL ANYTHING HERE. To gain the last map fragment, you need to light up lights in a sequence. First, count all the lamps and remember how many there are. Now click the FOURTH lamp first (beside the gate), then the SECOND, then the FIRST. The Archipelago Map will fall out underneath the gate (near the fourth lamp you first lit). Now move on to Pirate Outpost, or fight Crawfish if you have an exemplar crew and ship!
Defeating Crawfish!
Are you ready to defeat Captain Crawfish? (Recommended ship is the Phoenix Warbird, but Steaming Fury is also possible)
Go to Skullduggery island (between Pirate Outpost and Golden Harbor, below Fort Ridley) - the island will only appear when you find all 5 map pieces. When you arrive near it, don't dock, but wait for Captain Crawfish to appear. Very soon, he will. Now is your chance to sink him! Keep firing at him, since misses don't matter. If you ram your boat into his or vice versa, you will lose more health than him! Only ram into him if he has almost no health left. Good luck!
Below is a recording of me defeating Crawfish. Beware, if he's off your screen, chase him! He heals!

Go back to the mysterious island and dig up the treasure!
Watch the cutscene and...Congratulations!

Before you go...let's just celebrate my success of transforming Captain Crawfish's head into a cannonball. (Is this a blink? XD)
